AVC Elevate: Position Training

AVC Elevate Series is a focused, positional training series designed to help athletes sharpen individual skills through high-rep, intentional training during club season. Each session targets a key component of the game, emphasizing proper technique, decision-making, and game-like executing in a small-group environment.

This series is perfect for athletes looking to gain extra touches, build confidence, and elevate their performances outside of team practice.

Session Schedule:

January 31st: Serving with Coach Callie

February 7th: Serve Receive with Coach Maddie

February 14th: Defense with Coach Aleksa

February 21st: Setting with Coach Aleksa

February 28th: Hitting with Coach Maddie

March 7th: Passing/Serving with Coach Aleksa

March 14th: Hitting/Blocking with Coach Aleksa

March 21st: Setting/Defense with Coach Brylee

All sessions will take place at the AVC Facility-6111 4th Ave. STE. 4.

9s/10s: 8:30-9:30am

11s/12s: 9:45-10:45am

13s/14s: 11:00-12:00

15s-18s: 12:15-1:15

Feb. 28-Hitting

Join Coach Maddie for our AVC Elevate Series: Hitting. This session will focus on developing strong, efficient attackers. Athletes will work on approach mechanics, arm swing, timing, and shot selection in game-like situations. This session emphasizes proper technique, explosiveness, and confidence to help players become more effective and well-rounded hitters.

March 7-Passing & Defense

Join Coach Aleksa for our AVC Elevate Series: Passing & Serving. One of the most important parts of the game—First Contact. This session will break down proper passing technique, serve receive fundamentals, and serving mechanics, while emphasizing consistency, control, and confidence from behind the line. Athletes will work through high-rep, game-like drills designed to improve ball control, serve placement, and overall court awareness.

March 14-Hitting & Blocking

Join Coach Aleksa for our AVC Elevate Series: Hitting & Blocking. This session will break down proper hitting mechanics, arm swing efficiency, footwork, and shot selection, while also emphasizing blocking fundamentals such as timing, hand positioning, and reading hitters. Athletes will train through high-rep, competitive drills designed to improve offensive confidence and net presence.

March 21-Setting & Defense

Join Coach Brylee Nelsen for our AVC Elevate Series: Setting & Defense. This session will break down setting fundamentals including hand position, footwork, tempo, and location, while also emphasizing defensive technique, court positioning, and reading the game. Athletes will work through high-rep, game-like drills designed to improve touch, communication, and overall court awareness.
