AVC Beach

AVC Beach is BACK this Summer! We’re excited to announce that AVC Nebraska is partnering with Big Apple Fun Center to bring you an awesome beach season right here in Kearney! All sessions will be held on the Big Apple’s sand courts, giving our athletes a true beach volleyball experience in a fun, competitive environment.

This summer will include:

• Doubles teams competing and training.

• Weekly open play opportunities to get extra touches and learn how to play in the sand.

• Skill-specific beach clinics

• Fun beach tournaments throughout the season

Beach volleyball is one of the best tools for improving your indoor game. With only two players on the court, athletes are forced to develop ball control, court awareness, communication, and all-around skills. The sand builds strength, endurance, and explosiveness, while also sharpening decision-making and volleyball IQ. Every rep matters on the beach — and that translates directly back to the indoor court.
